Circa 1924 a striking French Art Deco Coffee table with gorgeous handpainted faux flame grain decorated top. The top has a decorative beaded edge to its circumference setting off the book paged and quartered top very nicely. Beneath are 4 very curvaceous steam bent supports connecting to a platform base supported on wooden ball feet. A very sturdy and useful table. Would be perfect as a side table illuminated with a lamp or as a stunning coffee table. Has been fully restored in our own workshops using traditional French polish and finished by hand. A beautiful and rare table from 1920’s France - a work of art!
